• NU/J (002019) — Inbred Nude: These Foxn1^nu mutant mice have a unique homogenous genetic background allowing highly consistent and reproducible growth of many allogeneic tumors and cell lines.
• J:NU (007850) — Outbred Nude: These Foxn1^nu mutant mice have a heterogeneous genetic background where all other alleles are segregating. These mice may support growth of tumors and cell lines that do not grow on other strains.
• B6.Cg-Foxn1nu/J (000819) — B6 Nude: These mice have the Foxn1^nu mutation fully congenic on the C57BL/6J inbred genetic background. They may be useful in adoptive transfer of B6-derived immune cells and genetic crosses with other genetically modified strains with a B6 genetic background.
